Introduction

First Aid Made Easy is accessible at www.firstaidmadeeasy.com.pk. To access and use the website, you must first read and accept these Terms and Conditions, which form a binding agreement between you and us. These terms apply throughout your use of the website. If you disagree with any part of them, please stop using our website.

Using the website

  • Eligibility: you must be at least 18 years of age to access and use the website.
  • Account responsibilities: if you hold an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • Prohibited activities: you may not attempt to harm our services in any way, including hacking, data mining, or introducing malware.

Refund policy

All sales are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

Because First Aid Made Easy supplies digital educational products and protected online access, payments are generally non-refundable once a purchase has been completed or access has been activated.

No refund is given for:

  • Change of mind
  • Failure to use or complete a course
  • Purchase of the wrong course by the user
  • Missed live classes
  • Unused Q-bank questions or assessments
  • Examination postponement, cancellation or change of plan
  • Failure to pass or achieve a desired score
  • Personal scheduling difficulties
  • Subscription expiry with unused content
  • Internet, device or software problems outside our reasonable control
  • A later promotional price, discount or offer

If a duplicate charge, demonstrable billing error or other circumstance requiring correction occurs, we may investigate and correct it as appropriate. Where an account is restricted, suspended or terminated because of a material breach of these Terms, no refund is ordinarily due. Nothing in these Terms excludes a refund or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Intellectual property

  • Ownership: all content on the site — text, graphics, logos, images, videos and software — is owned by or licensed to us and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
  • Limited license: you may view and use the content for personal purposes only. Any other use requires our written permission.

Account and login security

  • One account, one person: your account is personal to you. Sharing your login details, letting another person sign in to your account, or selling, lending or transferring access to it is not allowed.
  • Account sharing leads to a block: if we detect that an account is being shared or used by more than one person, it may be locked temporarily or blocked permanently without prior notice, and no refund will be given for the remaining period of the plan.
  • Devices and sessions: the number of devices and simultaneous sign-ins on an account is limited. Signing in on a new device may sign you out elsewhere, and devices beyond the limit are refused.
  • Verification codes: we may ask for a one-time code sent to your registered email or phone number when you sign in, especially from a new device, browser or location. Keep your email address and phone number up to date so that you can receive it.
  • Unusual activity: repeated wrong passwords, a sign-in from a different country, or other activity we consider suspicious may place your account on hold for a period of time. You will be told on screen, and where possible by email, when this happens.
  • Your responsibility: keep your password confidential, use one that you do not use elsewhere, and tell us immediately if you believe someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account.
  • Sign-in records: to protect your account we keep a record of sign-ins, including the date and time, IP address, approximate location, device and browser. This information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Video security

  • For your own viewing only: video lectures are licensed for personal study by the account holder. They may be watched only inside the website or our official app while you are signed in to your own account.
  • No downloading or recording: downloading, screen recording, capturing, copying, re-uploading, sharing, selling or distributing our videos — in whole or in part, by any tool, browser extension, app or device — is strictly prohibited.
  • No sharing of access: playing videos for other people through a shared account, a shared screen, group viewing or any similar arrangement is not allowed.
  • Playback is protected and monitored: video playback is protected and we monitor it for signs of downloading, tampering, automated access and unusual viewing patterns. Playback may be limited to a number of devices and streams at one time, and download tools and extensions may be blocked.
  • Violations lead to a block: if prohibited activity is detected, video playback may be stopped and your account locked temporarily or blocked permanently, without prior notice and without a refund. Activity linked to a violation is recorded and may be used as evidence.
  • Legal action: our videos are protected by copyright. We reserve the right to recover losses and to take legal action against anyone who copies or distributes them.

User submissions

  • Responsibility: any comments, feedback or suggestions you submit become the property of First Aid Made Easy.
  • Prohibited content: you may not submit anything unlawful, defamatory, or that infringes the rights of a third party.

Disclaimers

  • No guarantees: the website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or currency of the information on it.
  • Limitation of liability: we are not liable for any direct, indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the website.
